Summary
The Social Rocket – Social Sharing Plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting through the 'socialrocket-floating' shortcode. This vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping for user-supplied attributes. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. These malicious scripts can then execute whenever a user visits a page containing the compromised shortcode, potentially leading to unauthorized actions or data exposure.
