Summary

The Wux Blog Editor plugin for WordPress has a weakness that allows unauthenticated attackers to perform arbitrary file uploads due to inadequate file type validation in the 'wuxbt_insertImageNew' function. This vulnerability is present in versions of the plugin up to and including 3.0.0, potentially enabling attackers to upload malicious files to the server hosting the affected WordPress site. If exploited, this may lead to the execution of remote code, significantly compromising the security of the affected website.
