Summary

The UpdraftPlus: WP Backup & Migration Plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to reflected cross-site scripting due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping. Specifically, the safety of the showdata and initiate_restore parameters is compromised across all versions up to and including 1.24.12. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts into webpages. These scripts could be executed if an admin user is lured into clicking a malicious link, potentially leading to unauthorized actions and data breaches.
