Summary

The WPBookit plugin for WordPress is susceptible to an arbitrary file upload vulnerability caused by insufficient validation of file types during the image upload process. This flaw exists within the 'WPB_Profile_controller::handle_image_upload' function and affects versions up to and including 1.6.9. Unauthenticated attackers can exploit this vulnerability to upload arbitrary files to the server. If successfully exploited, this could pave the way for potential remote code execution, compromising the security of the affected WordPress site.
