What is CVE-2025-0520?

An unrestricted file upload vulnerability in ShowDoc arises from inadequate validation of file extensions, allowing an attacker to upload malicious PHP files. This can lead to unauthorized remote code execution on affected systems, posing a significant security risk for users unable to mitigate the flaw. The vulnerability impacts all versions of ShowDoc prior to 2.8.7.
