Summary

The Tag, Category, and Taxonomy Manager plugin for WordPress, prior to version 3.30.0, exhibits a flaw where certain widget settings are not properly sanitized and escaped. This vulnerability allows high privilege users, including administrators, to execute Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks, even in configurations where unfiltered HTML capabilities are restricted, such as multisite setups. This can lead to unauthorized script execution in the context of other users, creating potential security risks.
