What is CVE-2025-0839?
The ZoomSounds plugin for WordPress has a significant security flaw that allows stored Cross-Site Scripting. This vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in shortcodes, affecting versions up to 6.91. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level permission can exploit this flaw to inject malicious scripts. These scripts may execute unknowingly on user pages, posing serious risks to site security and user safety.
