What is CVE-2025-0918?
The YaySMTP plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping in versions up to and including 1.3.1. This flaw allows unauthenticated attackers to inject malicious web scripts into pages. When a user accesses these compromised pages, the injected scripts are executed, potentially leading to unauthorized data exposure and exploitation of user sessions.
