What is CVE-2025-11164?
The Mavix Education theme for WordPress has a security vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access and above to perform unauthorized modifications. This vulnerability arises due to a lack of capability checks on the 'mavix_education_activate_plugin' AJAX action, which affects all versions up to and including 1.0. Attackers can exploit this flaw to activate the Creativ Demo Importer plugin without appropriate permissions, potentially leading to unauthorized access and manipulation of user data.
