The Complianz β GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent plugin for WordPress is susceptible to stored cross-site scripting due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes within the plugin's cmplz-accept-link shortcode. This vulnerability allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to inject malicious web scripts into pages, which are then executed when users access those pages, potentially compromising user safety and data integrity.
