What is CVE-2025-11626?
The Wireshark network protocol analyzer versions 4.4.0 to 4.4.9 and 4.2.0 to 4.2.13 contain a vulnerability in the MONGO dissector that leads to an infinite loop. This flaw allows a remote attacker to craft specific packets that, when processed, may cause the application to become unresponsive, effectively resulting in a denial of service. Users are advised to upgrade to the latest version to mitigate this issue.
