6.5MEDIUM

What is CVE-2025-11723?

The Appointment Booking Calendar β€” Simply Schedule Appointments Booking Plugin for WordPress exposes sensitive information due to a vulnerability in its implementation of the hash() function. This flaw arises from the use of a hardcoded fallback salt, which allows unauthenticated attackers to generate valid tokens across multiple sites using the plugin. Any site that has not manually configured a salt in the wp-config.php file is at risk. Attackers leveraging this vulnerability can gain unauthorized access to booking details, potentially leading to modifications of appointments.
