What is CVE-2025-11745?

The Ad Inserter – Ad Manager & AdSense Ads plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the 'adinserter' shortcode. This vulnerability, present in all versions up to and including 2.8.7, allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level permissions or higher to inject arbitrary web scripts. When users access the compromised pages, these scripts can execute, potentially leading to unauthorized actions and data theft.
