What is CVE-2025-11768?
The Islamic Phrases plugin for WordPress exposes a vulnerability that allows authenticated users with contributor-level access or higher to exploit a stored cross-site scripting flaw. Through the 'phrases' shortcode attribute, insufficient input sanitization and output escaping can let attackers inject malicious web scripts into pages. Whenever a user accesses the compromised page, these scripts execute, potentially leading to unauthorized actions and data exposure.
