What is CVE-2025-11826?

The WP Company Info plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping. This security flaw exists in the 'class' attribute of the 'social-networks' shortcode and affects all versions up to and including 1.9.0. As a result, authenticated attackers with contributor privileges or higher can inject malicious scripts into pages. These scripts will execute whenever innocent users access the compromised pages, potentially leading to unauthorized actions, data breaches, or site defacement.
