What is CVE-2025-11834?
The WP AD Gallery plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'startindex' parameter in its ad-gallery shortcode. This vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping processes. As a result, authenticated attackers with contributor-level or higher access can exploit this flaw to inject malicious web scripts into pages. These injected scripts will execute whenever a user accesses the compromised page, potentially leading to session hijacking, data theft, or other malicious activities.
