What is CVE-2025-11856?

The Eventbee Ticketing Widget plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability that enables Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) attacks. This flaw arises from improper sanitization of user input in the 'eventbeeticketwidget' shortcode, affecting all versions up to and including 1.0. Authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or greater can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary web scripts. When users access pages where these scripts are embedded, the malicious code executes, potentially compromising user data and site integrity.
