What is CVE-2025-11863?

The My Geo Posts Free plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or above to perform Stored Cross-Site Scripting. This security issue arises from insufficient sanitization of user input and inadequate escaping of the output from the 'default' shortcode attribute in the 'mygeo_city' shortcode, enabling the injection of arbitrary web scripts. When a user visits a compromised page, those scripts could execute, potentially compromising the user's data or session.
