What is CVE-2025-11868?

The Everviz plugin for WordPress is susceptible to stored cross-site scripting vulnerabilities due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping. Authenticated users with contributor-level access or higher can exploit this issue by injecting malicious scripts through the everviz shortcode attributes, specifically the type and hash parameters. This flaw could allow attackers to execute arbitrary scripts on pages viewed by end-users, potentially leading to data theft and a compromised user experience.
