What is CVE-2025-11985?
The Realty Portal plugin for WordPress presents a significant security flaw due to a missing capability check in the 'rp_save_property_settings' function. This vulnerability allows authenticated users with at least Subscriber-level access to modify arbitrary site options. As a result, attackers can change the default role for new user registrations to 'administrator' and enable unauthorized user registrations, creating a pathway for malicious actors to gain administrative control over the affected WordPress site.
