CVE-2025-12020

4.9MEDIUM

What is CVE-2025-12020?

The Double the Donation plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping within the admin settings. This vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 2.0.0, allowing authenticated attackers with administrator permissions the ability to inject arbitrary web scripts. The injected scripts execute whenever a user accesses the compromised pages. Notably, this issue impacts multi-site installations and those where the 'unfiltered_html' option is disabled, increasing the risks to site integrity and user security.
