What is CVE-2025-12040?
The Wishlist for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows unauthorized users to manipulate the wishlists of others. This flaw arises from the absence of proper validation on a user-controlled key in several functions of class-th-wishlist-frontend.php, enabling unauthenticated attackers to gain access to and modify the wishlists of users without authorization. This could potentially lead to exposure of sensitive user data and compromise user privacy.
