What is CVE-2025-12076?
The Social Media Auto Publish plugin for WordPress suffers from a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping. Attackers can exploit this flaw via the PostMessage parameter in all versions up to and including 3.6.5. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated users to inject malicious scripts into web pages, which can execute if users inadvertently interact with a compromised link, leading to potential security breaches.
