What is CVE-2025-12077?

The WP to LinkedIn Auto Publish plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Reflected Cross-Site Scripting due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping. All versions up to and including 1.9.8 are affected. This vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts into web pages, which may execute in the context of a user's browser if the attacker successfully persuades the user to take specific actions, such as clicking a malicious link. This can lead to unauthorized actions on behalf of the user, compromising the security of the affected site.
