What is CVE-2025-12109?

The Header Footer Script Adder plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability that allows attackers with Contributor-level access or higher to inject arbitrary scripts into web pages. This weakness stems from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping practices, which make it possible for malicious scripts to be executed whenever a user accesses the affected pages. Users of all versions up to and including 2.0.5 are potentially at risk.
