What is CVE-2025-12151?

The Simple Folio plugin for WordPress is prone to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability that occurs through the 'portfolio_name' parameter. This issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping, allowing maliciously crafted scripts to be injected by authenticated users with Subscriber-level access or higher. When users access the compromised pages, the injected scripts are executed, potentially leading to severe security risks, including data theft, session hijacking, and defacement of web pages.
