CVE-2025-12160

What is CVE-2025-12160?
The Simple User Registration plugin for WordPress is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability through the 'wpr_admin_msg' parameter. This occurs in all versions up to and including 6.6 due to inadequate input validation and lack of output escaping. An unauthenticated attacker can exploit this flaw to inject malicious scripts into the web pages, which may execute automatically when a user accesses a compromised page, leading to a potential breach of user data and site integrity.
