What is CVE-2025-12175?

The Events Calendar plugin for WordPress has a security flaw that allows authenticated users with Subscriber-level access or higher to exploit a missing capability check on the 'tec_qr_code_modal' AJAX endpoint. This vulnerability can lead to unauthorized access, enabling these users to see draft event names and to generate and view associated QR codes, potentially exposing sensitive event information.
