What is CVE-2025-12372?
The Permalinks Cascade plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows authenticated users with subscriber-level access or higher to bypass authorization checks. This occurs in the handleTPCAdminAjaxRequest function, where the plugin fails to verify if the user is permitted to execute certain administrative tasks. Consequently, attackers can manipulate settings like enabling or disabling automatic pinging and customizing page exclusions, potentially compromising site functionality and security.
