What is CVE-2025-12400?
The LMB^Box Smileys plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Cross-Site Request Forgery due to inadequate nonce validation in the manage_page() function. This allows unauthenticated attackers to manipulate plugin settings without the administrator's knowledge. By tricking an administrator into clicking a crafted link, an attacker could exploit this vulnerability to inject harmful scripts and update settings, compromising the security of the WordPress site.
