What is CVE-2025-12417?
The SurveyFunnel plugin for WordPress prior to version 1.1.6 is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability via the 'surveyfunnel_lite_survey' shortcode. Due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on attributes provided by users, authenticated attackers with contributor-level permissions can inject arbitrary scripts into web pages. This can lead to unauthorized script execution whenever other users access these compromised pages, posing a significant risk to the site's integrity and security.
