What is CVE-2025-12505?

The weDocs plugin for WordPress exhibits a significant flaw in the create_item_permissions_check function, which fails to adequately verify user authorization. This oversight allows authenticated users with Subscriber-level access or higher to modify critical global settings of the weDocs plugin.
