What is CVE-2025-12535?
The SureForms plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows unauthenticated users to bypass Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) protections. This is due to the plugin distributing generic WordPress REST API nonces to unauthenticated users, instead of using form-specific nonces. As a result, attackers can exploit this weakness to perform unauthorized actions through the plugin's REST API endpoints, potentially affecting both the plugin and other plugins using similar methods for validation.
