What is CVE-2025-12634?

The Refund Request for WooCommerce plugin for WordPress has a security flaw that exposes systems to unauthorized data manipulation. Due to a missing capability check on the 'update_refund_status' function, authenticated users with Subscriber-level access and higher can change the statuses of refunds without proper authorization. This vulnerability affects all versions of the plugin up to and including 1.0, elevating risks related to financial transactions and data integrity.
