The Pollcaster Shortcode Plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows for stored cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks via the 'height' parameter in the 'pollcaster' shortcode. This issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping of user-supplied attributes. Authenticated users with contributor-level access or higher can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary scripts into the web pages. These scripts execute in the context of the affected site, potentially compromising user data and site integrity.
