What is CVE-2025-12710?
The Pet-Manager – Petfinder plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows Stored Cross-Site Scripting through the kwm-petfinder shortcode. This issue arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping for user-supplied attributes. Authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary web scripts. Such scripts will run when users access affected pages, potentially compromising site security and user experience.
