What is CVE-2025-12718?

The Quick Contact Form plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability that allows unauthenticated attackers to exploit an Open Mail Relay. This is facilitated through the 'qcf_validate_form' AJAX endpoint, where a user-controlled parameter is used to set the 'from' email address. As a result, attackers can send emails to arbitrary recipients using the server's resources. The information that can be compromised is limited to details submitted through the contact form.
