What is CVE-2025-12878?

The FunnelKit plugin for WooCommerce Checkout is susceptible to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability caused by inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on the user-supplied default attribute of the wfop_phone shortcode. Authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary web scripts into pages, which will execute when users visit those compromised pages. This could lead to a range of malicious activities, including data theft or user session hijacking.
