What is CVE-2025-12879?

The User Generator and Importer plugin for WordPress, up to version 1.2.2, is susceptible to Cross-Site Request Forgery. This vulnerability arises from a lack of nonce validation in the 'Import Using CSV File' function, allowing attackers to create arbitrary user accounts with administrator privileges. By tricking site administrators into triggering a malicious request, unauthorized users can gain elevated access, compromising the integrity and security of the WordPress site.
