What is CVE-2025-1288?

The WOOEXIM plugin for WordPress, up to version 5.0.0, is susceptible to cross-site request forgery (CSRF) attacks that can lead to reflected cross-site scripting (XSS). The vulnerability arises due to a lack of CSRF checks in certain areas of the plugin, alongside inadequate input sanitization and escaping. This flaw could potentially expose unauthenticated users to malicious scripts that exploit these weaknesses, thereby compromising the integrity and security of affected sites.
