What is CVE-2025-12973?

The S2B AI Assistant plugin for WordPress contains a vulnerability that enables unauthorized file uploads due to a lack of proper file type validation within the storeFile() function. This flaw affects all versions up to and including 1.7.8. Authenticated users with Editor-level access or higher can exploit this vulnerability, potentially allowing them to upload malicious files to the server, leading to remote code execution and severe security risks for the affected site.
