What is CVE-2025-12980?
The PostX plugin for WordPress suffers from a security flaw that allows unauthorized access to sensitive user metadata. This vulnerability arises from a lack of proper capability checks in the '/ultp/v2/get_dynamic_content/' REST API endpoint, present in all versions up to 5.0.3. As a result, unauthenticated attackers can exploit this weakness to access critical information such as password hashes, thereby compromising user account security.
