What is CVE-2025-13054?
The User Profile Builder plugin for WordPress is prone to a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability through the 'wppb-embed' shortcode. This issue arises from the lack of proper input sanitization and output escaping for user-supplied attributes, thereby allowing authenticated attackers with contributor-level access or higher to craft malicious scripts. These scripts can be injected into pages that may be viewed by other users. When accessed, these pages execute the injected scripts, potentially compromising user data and the integrity of the WordPress site.
