What is CVE-2025-13416?

The ProfileGrid – User Profiles, Groups and Communities plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows authenticated users with Subscriber-level access or higher to suspend other users—including administrators—from groups. This is caused by a missing capability check in the pm_deactivate_user_from_group() function. As a result, attackers can exploit this flaw to disrupt the functionality of user group management by leveraging AJAX actions, potentially undermining the overall security and integrity of the WordPress site.
