What is CVE-2025-13520?
The MTCaptcha WordPress Plugin is susceptible to a Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attack due to improper nonce validation in its settings update functionality. This vulnerability affects all versions up to and including 2.7.2, enabling unauthenticated attackers to tamper with plugin settings, including sensitive information such as the private key. Attackers can exploit this flaw by tricking site administrators into executing actions, such as clicking on a malicious link, allowing unauthorized configuration changes.
