What is CVE-2025-13608?

The CC Child Pages plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting through the 'child_pages' shortcode across all versions up to and including 2.0.0. This vulnerability arises from inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on several user-supplied parameters within the 'show_child_pages' function. As a result, authenticated attackers with contributor level access or higher can inject arbitrary web scripts into pages. These scripts execute whenever a user accesses an affected page, posing significant security risks.
