What is CVE-2025-13697?

The BlockArt Blocks plugin for WordPress is exposed to a serious stored cross-site scripting vulnerability through the 'timestamp' attribute. This issue is present in all versions up to and including 2.2.13 due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping. Authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher can exploit this vulnerability to inject arbitrary scripts into web pages, which will execute in the context of the user who accesses the compromised page. This could lead to the theft of sensitive information or redirect users to malicious websites.
