What is CVE-2025-13727?
The Video Share VOD plugin for WordPress contains a Stored Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping in its settings. This issue affects versions 2.7.11 and earlier, allowing authenticated attackers with editor-level permissions and above to inject malicious scripts. These scripts can execute when users access affected pages, particularly impacting multi-site installations where the 'unfiltered_html' option is disabled.
