What is CVE-2025-13740?
The Lightweight Accordion plugin for WordPress has a vulnerability that allows authenticated users with contributor-level access and above to exploit a Stored Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) flaw through the lightweight-accordion shortcode. This vulnerability arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes, enabling the injection of arbitrary web scripts into pages. When these pages are accessed by other users, the injected scripts will execute, posing a significant security risk.
