What is CVE-2025-13841?
The Smart App Banners plugin for WordPress is susceptible to Stored Cross-Site Scripting attacks due to inadequate input sanitization and output escaping on user-provided attributes, specifically within the 'size' and 'verticalalign' parameters of the 'app-store-download' shortcode. This vulnerability enables authenticated attackers, with at least Contributor-level access, to inject and execute arbitrary web scripts within pages accessed by users, potentially compromising user data and site security.
